2. Scope of These Terms
These Terms govern the booking, payment and participation in Blazing Trail Academy programs, events, workshops and experiences.
Additional information may apply to a specific program, including the date, time, venue, age range, required clothing, items to bring, program structure and any specific safety instructions. Where specific program information is provided at the time of booking, it forms part of the agreement between you and Blazing Trail Academy.
3. Bookings and Payment
Bookings are made through our website or any other booking method expressly approved by Blazing Trail Academy.
A booking is only confirmed once:
- the required booking information has been submitted;
- full payment has been received; and
- you have received a booking confirmation from us or from our booking/payment system.
Prices are listed in Euro (€). Unless otherwise stated, prices include any applicable taxes.
Places are limited and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. We reserve the right to close bookings once the maximum number of participants has been reached.
Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers. Blazing Trail Academy does not store full payment details.
4. Booking Confirmation
After completing a booking, you should receive confirmation by email or through the booking/payment system.
It is your responsibility to ensure that the email address and contact details provided during booking are accurate. Blazing Trail Academy is not responsible for missed communications caused by incorrect contact details.
5. Eligibility and Participant Age
Blazing Trail Academy programs are designed for teenagers within the age range specified for each program.
For participants under the age of 18, the booking must be completed by a parent or legal guardian, or by an adult who confirms that they have the authority of the parent or legal guardian to make the booking.
By making a booking, you confirm that:
- the participant falls within the required age range for the relevant program;
- the information provided during booking is accurate and complete;
- you have legal authority to make the booking on behalf of the participant; and
- the participant is able to take part in the program, subject to any medical or special requirements disclosed to us.
6. Health, Safety and Medical Information
The safety and wellbeing of participants is of utmost importance to Blazing Trail Academy.
Parents or legal guardians are responsible for informing us, at the time of booking, of any relevant medical conditions, allergies, medication requirements, disabilities, injuries, behavioural needs, dietary requirements or other special circumstances that may affect the participant's safety, wellbeing or ability to participate.
This may include, but is not limited to:
- allergies;
- asthma or breathing difficulties;
- heart conditions;
- epilepsy;
- diabetes;
- anxiety, panic attacks or other emotional wellbeing considerations;
- mobility limitations;
- recent injuries;
- medication needs;
- neurodiversity or learning support needs;
- any other condition that may be relevant to participation.
We will treat such information confidentially and use it only for the purpose of organising and delivering the program safely.
We reserve the right to refuse participation, or to require further information, where we reasonably believe that a participant's safety or wellbeing cannot be appropriately supported within the program environment.
7. Physical Activities
Blazing Trail Academy programs may include practical, reflective, team-based, experiential or light physical activities.
Activities are designed to be age-appropriate and supervised. However, participation may involve ordinary risks associated with group activities, movement-based exercises, teamwork challenges and use of external venues.
By booking, you confirm that the participant is physically and emotionally able to take part in the program, except for any limitations or requirements disclosed to us in advance, that we have explicitly accepted.
Participants must follow at all times all safety instructions given by Blazing Trail Academy staff, facilitators, venue staff or authorised representatives.
8. Emergency Contact and Medical Assistance
Parents or legal guardians must provide accurate emergency contact details during the booking process.
In the event of illness, accident, injury or emergency, Blazing Trail Academy will make reasonable efforts to contact the parent, legal guardian or emergency contact provided.
If urgent medical attention is reasonably considered necessary and the parent, legal guardian or emergency contact cannot be reached in time, you authorise Blazing Trail Academy staff or representatives to seek appropriate emergency assistance for the participant.
Any medical costs, transport costs or related expenses not covered by public emergency services or insurance remain the responsibility of the parent or legal guardian, unless caused by our negligence or unlawful conduct.
9. Code of Conduct
Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards staff, facilitators, other participants, venue staff and the venue itself or any other person they might interact with during the courses.
Participants must not engage in behaviour that is unsafe, abusive, discriminatory, threatening, violent, disruptive or damaging to property.
We reserve the right to remove a participant from the program if their behaviour:
- endangers themselves or others;
- seriously disrupts the program;
- damages property;
- breaches safety instructions; or
- is otherwise unacceptable in the context of a youth program.
Where a participant is removed for serious misconduct, no refund will be provided.
Parents or legal guardians may be required, in which case they will make the necessary arrangements without delay, to collect the participant promptly if removal from the program becomes necessary.
10. Cancellations, Refunds and Transfers
Bookings for Blazing Trail Academy programs are linked to a specific event date, venue, staffing arrangement and limited participant capacity.
For this reason, once a booking is confirmed, it is non-refundable unless:
- the program is cancelled by Blazing Trail Academy;
- a refund is required by applicable law; or
- Blazing Trail Academy agrees otherwise in writing.
If Blazing Trail Academy cancels a program, you will be offered either:
- a full refund of the amount paid; or
- the option to transfer the booking to a future program of equivalent value, subject to availability.
If a participant is unable to attend, parents or legal guardians should contact us as soon as possible. At our discretion, and subject to availability, we may offer a transfer to a future program date. We are not obliged to offer a transfer unless required by law.
Failure to attend a program without prior notice does not entitle you to a refund or transfer.
11. Changes to Program Date, Venue or Content
We may make reasonable changes to the program schedule, activities, trainers, facilitators, venue, timing or format where necessary for safety, operational, weather-related, venue-related or other reasonable reasons.
Where possible, we will notify you of material changes in advance.
If a material change significantly affects the nature or value of the program, we will offer an appropriate alternative, transfer or refund, depending on the circumstances.
12. Late Arrival and Collection
Participants should arrive at the time communicated before the program.
Parents or legal guardians are responsible for ensuring that participants are collected on time at the end of the program, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing.
Blazing Trail Academy is not responsible for participants outside the official program times, except where a delay or issue is directly caused by us.
13. Media, Photography and Video
Photographs and videos may be taken during Blazing Trail Academy programs for internal, educational, documentary, promotional or marketing purposes.
Because our programs involve minors, image use will be handled carefully and in line with applicable legislation, and solely for the purpose of sharing feedback on the courses on the social media platforms of Blazing Trail.
Parents or legal guardians are given the option to refuse consent for the participant's image to be used in any circumstance and specifically for promotional or marketing purposes, which case they are requested to inform Blazing trail before the start of the booked course.
If consent is not given, Blazing Trail Academy will take reasonable steps not to use identifiable images of that participant in promotional materials.
Parents or legal guardians may withdraw media consent at any time by contacting us in writing at hello@blazingtrailacademy.com. Withdrawal of consent will not affect uses already made before the withdrawal was received, but we will take reasonable steps to stop future use.
Participants and parents should not photograph or record other participants during the program without prior approval of the course staff.
14. Personal Data and Privacy
Blazing Trail Academy collects and processes personal information for the purpose of managing bookings, communicating with parents or legal guardians, delivering programs safely, handling payments, complying with legal obligations and improving our services.
Personal data may include parent/guardian contact details, participant details, age, emergency contact details, relevant medical or allergy information, booking information and payment confirmation information.
We do not sell personal data.
We may share necessary personal data with trusted third-party service providers where required to deliver our services, such as payment processors, website hosting providers, booking systems, email providers, venues, professional advisers or authorities where required by law.
15. Marketing Communications
We may contact you about the program you booked, including practical information, reminders, changes, safety information and follow-up communications directly related to your booking.
We will only send general marketing emails about future programs, events or offers where we have a lawful basis to do so, such as your consent or another basis permitted by applicable law.
Where marketing emails are sent, you will be able to unsubscribe or opt out.
16. Personal Belongings
Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings.
Blazing Trail Academy is not responsible for loss of, theft of or damage to personal belongings unless caused by our negligence, wilful misconduct or breach of legal duty.
We recommend that participants do not bring valuable items to the program unless necessary.
17. Liability
Blazing Trail Academy takes participant safety seriously and will take reasonable measures to provide a safe, respectful and supervised environment.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury caused by negligence, or any rights which cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
Subject to the above, Blazing Trail Academy is not responsible for:
- losses that were not reasonably foreseeable at the time of booking;
- loss or damage caused by a participant's failure to follow instructions;
- loss or damage caused by incomplete or inaccurate information provided during booking;
- loss or damage caused by events outside our reasonable control; or
- loss of or damage to personal belongings, unless caused by our negligence or wilful misconduct.
18. Events Outside Our Control
Blazing Trail Academy is not responsible for failure or delay in performing our obligations where this is caused by events outside our reasonable control.
This may include, but is not limited to, extreme weather, venue closure, public health restrictions, power failure, transport disruption, strikes, illness of key staff, accidents, government restrictions or other circumstances beyond our control.
Where such an event affects a program, we will take reasonable steps to inform you and offer an appropriate solution depending on the circumstances.
19. Complaints
If you have a concern or complaint, please contact us first at:
customerservice@blazingtrailacademy.com
Please include your name, the participant's name, the relevant program date and a clear explanation of the issue.
We will do our best to resolve complaints fairly and promptly.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, adapt, sell or commercially use our materials without prior written permission.
Participants may use materials provided during a program for their own personal learning only.

23. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.
The version in force at the time of your booking will apply to that booking, unless a change is required by law or is clearly beneficial to you.
The latest version of these Terms will be available on our website.
